GHF Choices

It’s all about choices; your choices.

Gifted and 2E families are faced with difficult decisions on parenting their gifted child to support development of healthy social emotional learning as well as academics.

GHF Families are pioneers in homeschooling. Our community started out of the need to create learning environments for our children to thrive. Here we are fifteen years later and we have developed an experienced community that now spans multiple generations. The heart of GHF is the steady influx of new families seeking help. Gifted and 2E families have built an infrastructure for ourselves to be in charge of our lives, to develop our own sense of agency.

GHF’s community is the result of volunteer families collectively working together to develop family agency. Most families were and are reluctant to make these changes. We come together and share resources, seek and receive information, and build the next generation of veteran families that are here to support the newcomers.

Our new generation of families is now learning that educating our children is about choosing from a wide palette of options that start with families taking control. It doesn’t have to mean pulling children totally out of school anymore either unless that is what you want to do. It’s about your choices.


GHF Choices Launches with these offerings

DIY Education

Home education can be really hard; it can be overwhelming and lonely. It requires a new set of skills, and it is a test of confidence. That is why GHF has created a yearlong program that was developed by experts, professionals, and veteran families. It was designed for you to go through it at your own, easy-to-manage pace with the support of the GHF community.

Expert Series

GHF Choices Expert Series is a collection of interview shows designed to bring you closer to those who have been making a difference in the lives of Gifted and 2E families. GHF interviews Gifted Professionals, Gifted Educators, and Veteran Parents. This is your empowerment zone.

Coffee Chats

GHF Members come together on a regular basis to share their favorite beverage and discuss their lives. Discussions include parenting a gifted child and the needs of gifted and 2e families wherever you live.

GHF Membership is our primary source of income for this non-profit. GHF has no full-time staff and we are just looking to cover our costs.
