Dr. Dan Peters is co-founder and Executive Director of the Summit Center. He has devoted his career to the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and families, specializing in overcoming worry and fear, learning differences such as dyslexia, and issues related to giftedness and twice-exceptionality.
He is passionate about helping parents and teachers to better engage children in the classroom, at home, and in life, so that they can realize their full potential. Dr. Dan is author of Make Your Worrier a Warrior: A Guide to Conquering Your Child’s Fears, and the companion book for children, From Worrier to Warrior: A Guide to Conquering Your Fears, as well as the Warrior Workbook: A Guide for Conquering Your Worry Monster. He is also co-author of Bright, Complex Kids: Supporting Their Social and Emotional Development and Boosting Your Child’s Natural Creativity, and hosts the podcast, Parent Footprint with Dr. Dan.
