S2, E7: Gail Post, Perspectives on Giftedness from a Psychologist, Writer and Parent.

September 28, 2021 By Katherine Turner

Gail Post, PhD. Psychologist.

Gail Post, Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist, parenting coach, workshop leader, and writer. In clinical practice for over 35 years, she provides psychotherapy in the Philadelphia area with a focus on the needs of the intellectually and musically gifted; consultation with educators and psychotherapists; and parent coaching throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Dr. Post served as co-chair of a gifted parents advocacy group when her children were in school, and continues to advocate through workshops with schools and parenting groups.

Her unique purview from her professional and personal roles gives her valuable insights, which she will share with us in this episode, as well as in her contributions to the upcoming GHF® Press book, Perspectives on Giftedness: Sound Advice from Parents and Professionals https://ghflearners.org/press/.

Additionally, Post’s writing related to giftedness includes online articles, several book chapters, plans for an upcoming book, and a long-standing blog, Gifted Challenges. You can follow her at www.giftedchallenges.com, https://www.facebook.com/GiftedChallenges/ and https://twitter.com/giftedchlnges, or find out more at https://www.gailpost.com.
