GHF Press Book Proposal Submission Guidelines

What is your book about?
Provide a summary of your book, including as much information as you deem necessary to present a clear vision of the content, as well as a title, tentative chapter breakdown, and projected number of words.

Have you started or completed writing your book?
If you have begun or finished your writing process, send us a chapter or two of the results.

Who is your audience?
Give us an idea of who you think your likely readers will be.

What makes your book stand out?
Identify other books written on the same subject or similar subjects and share what makes your approach or viewpoint unique.

Who might review your book?
If you have suggestions of professionals in the field related to your book who would be willing to read or review a copy, list their names and contact information.

What is your background?
Furnish us an overview of your background, including any pertinent personal, educational, or professional experience, as well as other writing examples—books, periodicals, blogs, websites, and so forth. Include a copy of your résumé or CV if you like.

Do you need further information?

Apply for GHF Expert Series Interviews

Every month, GHF interviews leaders from three different areas for our interview series:

  • GHF Expert Series: Professionals – Carol Malueg interviews professionals from the gifted community who work in a variety of fields supporting gifted individuals and homeschooling gifted children.
  • GHF Expert Series: Educators – Barry Gelston interviews education professionals from the gifted community targeting different specialties, age groups, and cultures.
  • GHF Expert Series: Parents – Pinpin Wei interviews veteran parents homeschooling gifted children from the gifted community discussing Been There, Done That topics and how do you homeschool your child.

You may apply to be interviewed for any of these interview series.

GHF is looking for a wide variety of people from all specialties, skills, and communities. Our goal is to continue to build a library of interviews that impact the community through the experiences of our professionals, educators, and parents.

Please feel comfortable to apply.

If your application becomes a finalist to be interviewed by GHF, we will contact you to do a pre-interview.


GHF Membership is our primary source of income for this non-profit. GHF has no full-time staff and we are just looking to cover our costs.
