Lindsey has a training business called opportunity unlocked where Lindsey has been teaching STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), as an early leader in online education. Lindsey has a great background as an engineer, public school teacher, private school teacher, and online STEM Educator.

You can find Lindsey’s courses on STEM in either Outschool or Opportunity Unlocked.

May 15, 2020: Discussing Stem with Lindsey Nelson

In this interview Barry and Lindsey drill down into the details of online STEM education, discussing the challenges and successes of online classroom management, preparing materials used at home, supporting independent learning, and developing creative and conceptual development through learning STEM online. 

Barry also had a chance to thank Lindsey for all of the work done at the relaunch by Lindsey cleaning up the finances of the organization, raising new funds, and restarting the online learning program.

S1, E2: Early Childhood Education with Wendy Margo

Ms. Margo earned a B.A. in Fine Arts at the Massachusetts College of Art and received her Waldorf teaching certification in early childhood education from Sunbridge Institute. She taught art in the Nashville public schools and went on to be a founding teacher at two startup schools, including the thriving Linden Waldorf School in Nashville, TN. Ms. Margo joined WSL’s early childhood faculty in 2001 and has served on the Board of Trustees, Governance Council, and the Professional Development Committee. She has also been an active participant in anthroposophical studies.
