S2, E2: Insight into a Bright Mind with Dr Nicole Tetrault

January 18, 2021 By ghfmain

Nicole A. Tetreault, PhD

Dr. Nicole Tetreault

Nicole Tetreault, Ph.D., is a compassionate neuroscientist, author, meditation teacher, and international speaker on topics of neurodiversity, neurodevelopment, creativity, mental health, and wellness. Her book, Insight into a Bright Mind, explores groundbreaking research examining the experiences of unique, creative, and intense brains through interviews, storytelling, and literary science, while advocating for new directions of human diversity and neurodiversity. As the founder of Awesome Neuroscience, she translates the most promising neuroscience and positive psychology for people to live their best life. Nicole has authored numerous academic papers on intelligence, autism, brain evolution, neuroinflammation, and behavior. As recipient of the Milton Career Exploration Prize from Caltech, she founded the novel non-profit Beyond the Cell, a transformative program to rehabilitate incarcerated women through guided meditation, neuroscience, literature, and expressive writing. Nicole believes we have the ability to wire our minds for positive plasticity through compassion and wisdom and live the life we dream. For more about Nicole, please visit nicoletetreault.com and beyondthecell.org.

Insight into a Bright Mind

Are you bright? Do you know someone who is? Among the bright population, many social, emotional, and intellectual abilities are unrecognized.  Bright people are misunderstood and mislabeled as awkward geeks, mad scientists, maladjusted poets, oversensitive artists, hyperactive clowns, or antisocial misfits. Do you want to understand the science behind why intelligent, sensitive, and highly creative brains are simply different?  In Insight into a Bright Mind, Dr. Nicole Tetreault, a neuroscientist, translates recent groundbreaking research examining the minds of the most highly intelligent, creative, and intense brains, and explores new directions for the neurodiverse experiences of humans.  You will learn how your brain is as unique as your fingerprint, and how your experience is elevated because you are simply “hard-wired” differently!  Insight into a Bright Mind is intensely argued in favor of neuroindividuality, superbly researched with the latest scientific data, and deeply invested in engaging with a myriad of bright minds capturing their essence through storytelling and voice.  Be liberated to embrace your essence with greater self-compassion and awareness, and unlock your unconventional mind.
