On why the GHF Professionals Group Matters

A highlight of my week is learning from and with my colleagues in the GHF Professionals Group. Each week, I look forward to asking questions, sharing insights, and testing out new ideas. I feel confident referring families to these dedicated professionals– my network has been immeasurably enriched!

Carol Malueg, M.A., GCT, 2e

Hi, I’m Carol Malueg. I’m a Learning Coach with Mr. Gelston’s One Room Schoolhouse, where we are dedicated to supporting the unique needs of gifted and twice-exceptional learners and their families. I work with gifted and 2e youth and young adults to help them manage their job of learning, whether K-12, homeschool, or college. Through ongoing dialogue, we work together to find personalized tools for organization, self-management, and self-advocacy that work with each individual’s learning preferences and within their environmental constraints. I offer advice and strategies to parents and caregivers as they advocate on behalf of their child, and frequently work with educators and other professionals as part of a child’s educational and support team.
